CAHAL PECH VILLAGE RESORT

As apart of the 4 field approach to Anthropology this trip consisted of studying the cultural, archaeology, bio anthropology, linguistics of ancient and modern life in Belize. One component of the cultural aspect was studying the Anthropology of Tourism. This was particularly interesting since we were given the opportunity to stay in beautiful resorts. This came to a huge surprise since I was given the impression before departure we would be roughing it! Looks like we didn't have to this trip. For the first couple of days we stayed at Cahal Pech in San Ignacio. It was located near where we were going caving over the first 2 days of our trip. This was one of my favorite cities in Belize.
