Day of Caving the world famous ATM CAVE! ACTUN "cave" TUNICHIL "stone-like" MUKMAL "sepulchre". This cave is amazing because at the mouth of the cave there is a river which runs through the entire cave. It is filled with many rock obstacles and swimming. This cave in particular I was very nervous to do since I had only done caving once before this one. It definitely tested me both physically and mentally. I got to see beautiful ceramics of pieces of pottery, some human remains, and at the end we adventured all the way to the end of the cave to see the young girl buried. This was a very special moment because after all the hard work I got to see something so mystical and sacred. I felt very fortunate to have been able to complete this journey which symbolized many obstacles in which I can over come in my life.
